Mike Sager
The ability to capture moments has always fascinated me. From my first camera, a pocket 110 instamatic in1984 to my current workhorse, a Canon r6 mk 2, I have enjoyed the pursuit. I love the idea that each picture I take is not just a mere clicking of the shutter but an opportunity to showcase and preserve the wonder that inspires me. The blurry grainy pictures I took in my youth hold the same wonder for me as the high megapixel, optically stabilized images I am able to capture today. Yet even with all the advancements in camera technology and the techniques and skills I have learned over the years, capturing the moment continues to be my inspiration.
I currently live in southern Indiana where my family and I enjoy life on our small farm on a big hill and get to watch the sun rise over the tree tops every morning.
When my wife, Amy, and I started our family, I took every moment I could to put my camera right up in our kids’ faces (and I mean right up there!). It didn’t matter what they were doing—eating dinner, playing with the dog, rolling in the dirt—I wanted to capture those moments.
And I still want that. Whether we’re at conferences, traveling to see new places, or trying a new experience, there are pictures to be captured and stories to be told. That’s really why I am here. Whether it’s events, real estate, or marketing, I want to help you capture the moments that matter with meaningful photography and videography.
